Driver Requirements
Jobs offered Dry Van Driver and Flatbed Driver
To be eligible for a CDL driver position at Forsage you must meet the following requirements:
- Age: Be at least 23 years old
- Experience: Have at least two years of tractor-trailer cross country experience in all four seasons
- Driving record: Have no more than three moving violations in the past three years, and no major preventable accidents in the past 12 months
- Criminal record: Have no DWI, reckless driving, careless driving, or felony convictions
- Have a stable work history with no more than 2 companies in the past year
- CDL: Have a current Class A CDL
- Training: Complete Forsage orientation program, which includes classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel road test
- Documents: Provide a federal identification number or Social Security number
- Tests: Pass all U.S. DOT driver qualifications requirements, including a physical exam, drug test, clearinghouse and road test
